Twenty One Pilots

American musical duo Twenty One Pilots was formed in 2009 in Columbus, Ohio. They released their self-titled debut album the same year. However, the duo achieved breakthrough success with their fourth album, Blurryface, released in 2015. The album featured the successful singles ‘Stressed Out’ and ‘Ride’ that attributed to the mainstream success of the group. ‘Stressed Out’ earned the duo a Grammy Award in 2017. The band’s musical style is quite hard to characterize as both members of the band are self-taught musicians and have been influenced by various musical genres. In October 2018, the band released their fifth studio album Trench. They played in some of the biggest festivals in 2019 like Sziget, and will be back on tour in 2020.
