Rock in Rio Lisbon 2020 confirms Liam Gallagher for this year’s edition. The Portuguese festival will take place on 20 and 21, 27 and 28 June 2020.
Ex-Oasis vocalist Liam Gallagher has been added to the line-up for this Lisbon festival this summer. More precisely, he will be taking stage on Sunday 21 June. He will be joining The National as well as the Foo Fighters, who will be headlining.

Liam Gallagher, born in 1972, is an English singer-songwriter. He is best known for his career as the lead singer of Oasis and Beady Eye. After Beady Eye disbanded in 2014, he began his career as a solo artist. His distinct singing style in combination with his peculiar behavior and abrasive attitude make him one of the most recognizable British music artists nowadays. His first solo album, As You Were, was released in 2017. It debuted at no. 1 in the UK charts. His second solo album, Why Me? Why Not, hit the stores in 2019.
Rock in Rio Lisbon 2020
After the huge success of Rock in Rio in Brazil, the organizers took the festival to Lisbon in 2004. So far, popular names from different music genres like Paul McCartney, Foo Fighters, Britney Spears, Roger Waters, Rammstein and Shakira have performed at the festival. After the success of Rock in Rio and Rock in Lisboa, the organizers also took their festival to Madrid. There was also one Rock in Las Vegas and a Rock in festival in Santiago is in the books for 2021.
