Ed Sheeran on tour until September 2019, possibly doing festivals

Ed Sheeran reveals in a new video that he plans to tour until the end of next year. The famous English singer, songwriter, guitarist and record producer is currently touring through North America to promote his latest album ÷ (Divide).

Ed Sheeran recently gave a very special interview as the puppet protagonist of the video clip of his latest single ‘Happier’. In this interview, he reveals that he plans to continue working on his new album, having already finished some tracks. Moreover, he also announced that he plans to end his tour in September 2019.

This extension of his current tour means that there is a possibility he will perform at festivals next summer. In an interview with Pinkpop organiser Jan Smeets, Dutch media 3voor12 ask if Ed Sheeran is something for the 50th Pinkpop, as he will be doing festivals next year. Jan Smeets answered somewhat vaguely: “Maybe. It is indeed a thing”.
