Neil Young to tour across Europe in summer 2019?

It has been two years since the last European performance of Neil Young + Promise of the Real. Neil Young has now teased that the band will return to UK and other European countries next summer.

The legendary Canadian musician and songwriter Neil Young has launched last year an online archival platform . On it he’s streamed every song he has ever recorded in high resolution quality. On that platform he also answers questions from the fans. Two questions asked about the future plans of the band. Neil Young revealed that he plans to perform in UK and Europe next summer.

Following, these exciting news it still remains a mystery whether he will also perform at British festivals together with Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, a band fronted by the son of Willie Nelson. Possible appearances of the band could include then Glastonbury 2019 or British Summer Time. The last time he performed at Glastonbury was 2009. Neil Young

Neil Young is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician born in Toronto in 1945. He started his musical career in late 60s. He released two solo albums before joining Crosby, Stills & Nash in 1969. Since then Neil Young has released more than thirty studio albums(nearly every year). He’s been backed by various bands including Crazy Horse and even Pearl Jam! His distinct singing voice and guitar work combined with political and deeply personal lyrics make him one of the most recognisable artists of rock music. He has also won three Grammy Awards. In addition he is one of a few musicians to be inducted to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. At 72, Neil Young is still touring the world performing at many festivals. At the same time he is being praised for very energetic and intense live performances.
