Back to the States and Other Details about the Delta Tour

While their appearance at Rock Werchter will mark the band’s last European gig for the time being, it’s far from being their last concert of the tour.

Mumford & Sons will cross the pond and kick off the second and prolonged part of the American Delta Tour leg with a concert in Los Angeles, CA on 3 August. The last concert of the tour, as per the latest announcement, will be in Toronto, Canada, on 17 December.

The band will also briefly return to the States during the European leg of the Delta Tour to perform at Bottlerock Festival, taking place in Napa Valley, CA (they will be playing on 26 May).

It’s also meant to be a more sustainable one, as Mumford & Sons launched the #DeltaTourRecycling initiative which is meant to encourage all European concert goers to recycle during their shows. There’s also going to be a reward for this good deed, as each night, the winner will receive a “special piece of memorabilia after the show”.

Hyped to attend their next concert or feeling the post-concert blues and would love to get back in the mood? Not a problem anymore! You can follow Mumford & Sons’ playlist and even add your own suggestions to it. The band launched the #DeltaTourWalkOut idea too, and is inviting concert goers to contribute with local vibes to the playlist.

Mumford & Sons

The British band has been on the road for most of their career. They formed back in 2007, this is their fourth tour, and seeing as it has been extended, one of their longer ones as well.

The Delta Tour was announced back in October 2018 and as per the band itself, Delta is their beloved album, the one they “love the most out of all of them”.

With four studio albums under their belt, Mumford & Sons have already won quite a number of important music awards, including a Mercury Prize and Brit award for Best British Group. They also have been nominated for a Grammy award 8 times so far, and with the release of Delta, they will probably raking up more nominations and awards.

Mumford & Sons already teased with a fifth album already, but until then, which concert or festival that they are playing at are you most excited about?
