4.02 How to upload to WordPress

If you want to upload a photo, you can do this by going to the media library and clicking on add new at the top. You can then select one or more photos. When you have selected the photo(s) they will be uploaded immediately.

Title

The title of the photo becomes the title that the photo has on your computer. If this is not a clear title (for example: download (1)), adjust this title. Give the title the name of the band/artist or festival. If it’s a photo of a band/artist at a festival, name both the band/artist and the festival.

Caption

In the caption you name the photographer: Photo credit: Danny Clinch. When you have taken the photo yourself, you can of course put your own name in it. If you don’t know who the photographer is, leave this box empty.

Description

In the description you put where you got the photo. If it is a press photo of Radiohead that you downloaded from the Rock Werchter website, write: Press photo, taken from Rock Werchter website.

If it is an aftermovie screenshot (e.g. Down The Rabbit Hole), write: Screenshot aftermovie Down The Rabbit Hole.

If you upload a photo that you have taken yourself, you can put: Free to use in the description.
