Stormzy headlined Glastonbury 2019 last Friday. The English rapper had a big surprise for the audience of the legendary festival. Among other guest appearances, he was joined on stage by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
Stormzy gave a sensational performance on the Pyramid Stage. The 25-year-old rapper played an energetic show, including several special guests. He was joined by his fellow English rappers Dave and Fredo for their hit ‘Funky Friday’, as well as Raleigh Ritchie.
However, the biggest highlight of the night was when Coldplay singer Chris Martin came on stage to play a beautiful rendition of ‘Blinded By Your Grace Pt.1’ with Stormzy.

On Saturday night, The Killers invited Pet Shop Boys and Johnny Marr for a memorable encore as well.
Stormzy
Stormzy was born in July 1993. The London rapper has been extremely influential in making grime music mainstream. His debut album Gang Signs & Prayer was the first grime record ever to reach number one in the UK charts. The Englishman was also the first unsigned rapper to appear on Jools Hollandās famous tv show. This year, he became the first grime artist to headline Glastonbury Festival. Stormzy’s second album is due to be released early next year.
