Red Hot Chili Peppers
Red Hot Chili Peppers is an American rock band formed in 1983 in Los Angeles. Their lineup has changed a lot over the years. As a result, frontman Anthony Kiedis and bassist Flea are the only members remaining from the original group that started out. The other two completing the current lineup are drummer Chad Smith and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer. Although their musical style primarily consists of rock with an emphasis on funk, it includes elements from other genres such as punk rock and psychedelic rock as well.
Their fifth album Blood Sugar Sex Magik was released in 1991 featuring ‘Give It Away’ as the first single. Later, the ballad ‘Under the Bridge’ was released as their second single from the album and became one of their most well-known songs. The band went on a tour promoting their album and instantly gained stardom. Since then, their popularity has only grown with time, selling over 80 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling bands of all time.
