The American progressive metal band Tool have revealed, via a Twitter message from the frontman of the band Maynard James Keenan, that their new album is expected to be released next year. Keenan toured across Europe with A Perfect Circle this summer performing at many major music festivals.
Twelve years have passed since the release of Tool’s fourth album 10,000 Days. Now the fans of the group have a serious reason to be excited after the lead singer of the band Maynard James Keenan confirmed in his Twitter message that the other band members are working on their parts in the upcoming album. After a long legal lawsuit, the band had previously confirmed that they are turning their focus towards recording the album.
It is still unknown whether Tool are planning to tour across European festivals next summer. The band has previously headlined major rock and metal festivals such as Download and Rock am Ring. Moreover, although they are still performing live across U.S, they last performed on European soil in 2007. As a result, Tool’s return to Europe is highly anticipated by their fans across the continent.
