The Killers are one of the most acclaimed headliners nowadays; they are supposed to do a busy world tour in 2020 including several festival appearances such as Mad Cool, Hurricane & Southside and Inmusic.
The Killers’ last festival tour dates back to 2018, when they played at Rock Werchter, Latitude and more; on the other hand in 2019 they had very few appearances in Europe and the most iconic was Glastonbury indeed.
Live at Glastonbury 2019
After a not exciting performance in 2007, The Killers were back to Glastonbury to headline the Pyramid Stage on Saturday night. The show was epic, the setlist anthemic: Brandon Flowers & co. proved to be a magnificent headliner. The moment that everyone was waiting for was surely the encore: with the collaboration of Pet Shop Boys first and then Johnny Marr, The Killers ended their show playing two covers and two stunning hits. Needless to say, the last epic track was Mr. Brightside.

The Killers

The Killers are an American rock band formed in Las Vegas in 2001. They are currently touring with their latest album Wonderful Wonderful, which was released last year. This summer, you can find them at Rock in Rio Lisbon and at a few shows in the UK and Ireland. Fun fact: hit single ‘Mr. Brightside’ is still regularly in the UK singles charts after its release in 2004.
