Colours of Ostrava was first held in 2002. Since then, the festival has become the biggest festival in the Czech Republic. It has a capacity of 30,000 people and features performers from all major popular music genres as well as classical, jazz and world music. Many well-known artists such as Iggy Pop & The Stooges, Jamiroquai and alt-J have performed in previous years. The festival also offers discussions, theatre performances, films, workshops and art activities.

By train: Ceské dráhy (Czech Railways) will be adding services for night-time regional links from Ostrava. On the Ostrava–Prague route Czech Railways is adding on 21/7 the Colours Express Night and the Colours Express
By bus: Book your ticket to the Central Bus Station which is just 500 metres from the festival site.
Night Ride Home by Residomo: Residomo offers convenient transport from the festival to Ostrava Poruba, Karviná, Orlová, Havírov and Frýdek Místek. Buses leave from Železárenská Street, the stops are about 300 metres from the main gate – beyond the pedestrian underpass.
By tram: Trams 1 and 2 - stops Dolní Vítkovice Hlubina and Dolní Vítkovice

2. Camp ticket - Ticket to camp for one person valid during camp opening hours.
